Reflections

As I look forward into 2018 with some degree of uncertainty, I also have hope! I have a new agent and a new lease on life. I find myself hesitant as I update all my acting files to mark all my skills because I am still recovering to some degree from surgery. I know my mind and body remember, but getting back to being strong enough is a fight. For instance, I studied martial arts for many years, I love it. What a year!

2017 has been a rough roller coaster and is proving to continue to be to the end. Earlier this year I lost a great friend and mentor. Gary Austin passed away this year in April. I have felt this loss tremendously even though I only saw him in spurts when I could afford to travel. He is the reason I would fly to New York and had plans to spend the summer in Los Angeles to train with him on his home turf. I first met him in Nashville, TN and was amazed by him. Cannes Film Festival

Looking forward to the Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film. I (Abigail) will be there ready to network and enjoy the movies. We will be viewing movies, seminars, and events the entire event, with a touch of time to enjoy some of Cannes. Looking forward to seeing industry friends that live in other states that will also be there and even more looking forward to seeing their work. Excited over making new friends and hopefully creating working relationships.
